Modular panels indicated for lining drive drums, as they provide increased traction, better water runoff and their high coefficient of friction reduces the misalignment of conveyor belts. The aluminum oxide (Al2O3) present in ceramic inserts provides extremely high wear resistance, which ensures its service life and the efficiency of the drum lining.
Modular and produced for the width of the drum, they can be applied easily through cold cure processes, with the alternative of being supplied with a CR (self-vulcanizing) layer, increasing metal x rubber adhesion and facilitating application in the workshop and on drums installed in the equipment, or applied through the hot cure process, using Bonding Rubber and Vulcaflex Multipurpose Quick Drying Cement.

Also available in the V-0 version, in which the compound’s characteristics meet UL94 Standard Grade V-0. Its high abrasion and impact resistance are combined with flame-retardant and self-extinguishing properties, an excellent solution for industrial applications with higher risk of flammability.

In the SL and EL lines, the panels are supplied measuring 495 mm and widths for drums up to 2,600 mm. In the EL Plus, EL-S, HD and HDX
lines, panels measuring 500 mm for drums up to 2,600 mm.

• Optionals:
  CR Layer
  Some Vulcaflex modular linings can also be
  supplied with a CR (self-vulcanizing) layer, which provides easier application and considerable increase in cold-cure metal-to-rubber adhesion.
  No mechanical cleaning of the rubber is required.

• CR+ Layer
  The CR+ Layer is an additional self-vulcanizing layer, covering the side faces and the edges of the lining panels, favoring:
  Vulcanizer Productivity and Safety gains, as there is no need to grind the rubber sides and edges of the lining panel in order to apply the adhesive solution and install Vedaflex finishing tape, reducing adhesion and sealing system failures in the drum lining process;
  Application improvements in drum lining finishing, contributing to reduced adhesive failures in this stage of the process.

• DV Layer
  The panels can be made with two different colors in their thickness, allowing for creating a Visual Wear Limit so that maintenance professionals can
  identify the wear level as soon as the new rubber color is seen, caused by a certain reduction in the thickness of the lining.
  It thus becomes possible to make maintenance decisions regarding the scheduling and replacement of the lining, preventing unwanted events entailing damage to the metal drum casing and unexpected downtime for maintenance and production losses at plants.
