The road so far…
Vulcaflex is founded in the city of Mateus Leme – MG, starting operations with only 6 employees, achieving much with little and overcoming every adversity. The initial business line is Industrial, with its first adhesive. Its headquarters is moved to Uberlândia – MG, marking the start of another business line: Automotive.
Vulcaflex launches another business line: the Bike Line. Repairs for bicycle and motorcycle inner tubes are developed and produced. With a focus on quality, ISO 9001 is implemented. Its manufacturing capacity is doubled. Vulcaflex then begins exporting products for the Industrial Line.
Vulcaflex faces the biggest financial crisis in its history due to significant past investments coinciding with the economic crisis the country was experiencing at the time.
After assessing the challenges faced and planning actions to reverse the situation, a company-wide restructuring process is initiated, bringing even greater professionalism to operations. This period was mainly marked by the growth of the Automotive and Bike Lines, which doubled their revenue.
A period marked by Vulcaflex’s participation in major trade shows focused on the Automotive and Bike Lines. Significant investments were made in manufacturing and the company’s Quality department. The commercial and industrial teams were restructured.
With the restructuring of the Industrial Line's manufacturing and commercial management and the recovery of major contracts, the year was marked by the growth of Vulcaflex’s Industrial Line.
Vulcaflex takes the first step toward the brand’s definitive internationalization with the official opening of the Vulcaflex Chile office in Santiago.
Vulcaflex Service is officially introduced to the market, offering technical and engineering services in coatings, repairs, and splicing of conveyor belts and rubber-lined surfaces, with experienced professionals and excellence in execution.
A period marked by the acquisition of 70,000 m² for the expansion of Vulcaflex’s industrial park. The restructuring of the commercial department, creation of the engineering department, and expansion of the logistics structure made it possible to provide even more efficient, technical, and precise customer service.
