It is extremely important that, at the time of delivery, any discrepancies be noted on the back of the invoice, indicating the condition of the received goods and, if necessary, the name of the delivery driver.

The DIFAL must be paid when the customer is the end consumer — that is, when the product is purchased for their own use or consumption, regardless of whether they have a State Registration (Inscrição Estadual). However, the customer must not have a business activity related to the purchased products under their CNPJ, as that would characterize them as a reseller. If the customer has a State Registration and a commercial activity but uses the products for service provision, personal use, or consumption, we request a declaration stating that the products purchased from Vulcaflex will be used for service purposes. In this case, the customer may be classified as an “End Consumer,” and the DIFAL will be collected on the invoice. It is important to note that many customers do not have a State Registration but do have a commercial activity — such as MEIs (Individual Microentrepreneurs). In this case, they are not considered end consumers.
No. The IPI is a separate tax, highlighted in its own field on the invoice and added to the product price, making up the invoice total.
Yes. However, we point out that the final value of the product changes according to the internal rate (tax) of the destination State for the final consumer, since the **DIFAL** is collected.

The DIFAL is the ICMS amount corresponding to the difference between the interstate rate and the destination state’s internal rate, paid on products sold to the end consumer — that is, only for transactions to non-taxpayer end consumers. Tax Substitution (ST), on the other hand, is the ICMS paid on a product intended for subsequent resale. The amount is calculated based on the product’s NCM code and only applies if the origin and destination states have a protocol or agreement in place. In short: DIFAL = End Consumer; ST = Subsequent Operations (Reseller)
